Women's Safety
The Shrine Board ensures security along the entire 13km trek route with CCTV, police posts, and well-lit path. Women pilgrims are common and well-protected. Separate queue options available at the shrine. Ponies and helicopters available for those who can't trek. Many families and women groups make the pilgrimage.

Transport Safety
Train or road to Katra (base town). The trek is on a paved and well-maintained path. Ponies, palanquins, and battery-operated vehicles available for part of the route. Helicopter service from Katra to Sanjichhat.
