Women's Safety
Major forts and palaces (Amber, Hawa Mahal, City Palace) are safe with security. Johari Bazaar and Bapu Bazaar are busy but manageable. Use hotel cars for evening outings. Jaipur is generally safer than Agra for women. Cultural shows at hotels are a safe evening activity.

Gem stone export scams (biggest Jaipur scam), overpriced textile shops in old city, commission-based tuk-tuk drivers, fake block printing workshops, elephant ride operators with poor animal welfare.
Transport Safety
Jaipur Metro covers some routes. Auto-rickshaws should be metered or pre-negotiated. Uber/Ola work well. The road to Amber Fort is scenic but crowded with tourist buses.
